PROCESSING TIMES FOR CANADIAN VISAS
The Canadian High Commission New Delhi Visa Office has currently been receiving record-high volumes of visa applications making it the busiest season of the year. As a result, the visa processing times have increased to approximately 7 working days for visitor visas and 14 working days for study permits and work permits. Please note that due to high number of applications received each day, processing cannot be completed faster than indicated. The visa office is doing everything it can to ensure that applicants receive the most efficient possible service under the circumstances. All applicants are advised to apply well in advance of their planned travel date.
