Notice to Potential Students to Canada
There have been a number of reports of fake assurances that speak of guaranty of study in Canada and of Canadian "college" visa scam.
To avoid being cheated, Nepalese students who intend to study in Canada are urged to refer to the following websites on studying in Canada:
http://www.studycanada.ca/ english/index.htm (the general website); and
www.livelearnandsucceed.gc.ca (the Government of Canada website).
Tips for potential students:
- You should always verify that the university or college you intend to join is a member of
at least one of the two recognized Canadian associations
- Apply to the college/university directly, whenever possible.
- Speak to Canadian colleges/universities who recruit directly at education fairs. Use of an
agent is not required.
- Always use the Government of Canada website on studying in Canada: www.livelearnandsucceed.
